Road tax changes the on-road price across Delhi NCR.
The rule
Delhi: Delhi charges a one-time road tax of 8% of the ex-showroom price on petrol two-wheelers. Electric two-wheelers are exempt.
Noida (UP): Uttar Pradesh charges a one-time road tax of 7% on two-wheelers up to ₹40,000 and 10% above that, as a share of the ex-showroom price. Electric two-wheelers are exempt until 13 October 2027.
Gurgaon (HR): Haryana charges a one-time road tax of 4% on two-wheelers up to ₹75,000, 6% up to ₹2,00,000 and 8% above that, as a share of the ex-showroom price. Electric two-wheelers are exempt under the Haryana EV policy.
