How Lowzo checks on-road prices
Every price on Lowzo is checked daily against the price lists of authorised dealers in Delhi. Today that covers 108 models and 293 variants from 10 brands.
Price verified against authorised dealer price lists · Delhi on-road · How we check prices
Our method, step by step
- Authorised dealer price lists
Every day Lowzo collects the current price lists that authorised dealers of each brand in Delhi issue to their sales staff. These are the prices a buyer is actually quoted at the showroom, not a national ex-showroom figure from an advert.
- Variant by variant
Each variant is matched separately: a drum-brake, disc-brake, alloy-wheel or Bluetooth variant has its own line and its own price. A photo is linked to a variant only when the maker's own website lists the same ex-showroom price (within ₹1,000).
- Line-by-line on-road price
The on-road price is shown as its parts: ex-showroom, RTO registration and road tax, insurance and any dealer charges such as handling or accessories kits. The lines add up to the total on the page.
- Daily check and update date
Prices are re-checked every day. Each price page shows the date it was last verified, and changes reach the website within about 10 minutes of being approved in the Lowzo system.
- Real deal prices
Where buyers have bought through Lowzo, the page also shows the median price they actually paid after dealers bid against each other, so you can see how far below the on-road price a deal can go.
- Other cities
Delhi prices come straight from Delhi dealers. Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon and Faridabad prices are clearly marked estimates: the Delhi price with that state's road tax in place of Delhi's.
What an on-road price includes
| Line | What it is |
|---|---|
| Ex-showroom | The authorised dealer's list price for that exact variant, including GST. |
| RTO / road tax | Registration fee, number plate and the state road tax (Delhi rates; EVs are exempt). Road tax rules |
| Insurance | The dealer's insurance quote: 1-year own damage plus 5-year third party for new two-wheelers. |
| Other charges | Handling, accessories kit or charger where the dealer lists them. Shown as separate lines, never hidden. |
Questions about Lowzo prices
Where do Lowzo on-road prices come from?
From the price lists of authorised dealers in Delhi, checked every day. Lowzo shows each part of the on-road price separately: ex-showroom, RTO registration, insurance and other charges.
How often are prices updated?
Every day. Each model page shows the date its price was last verified. Updates reach the website within about 10 minutes.
Why can the Lowzo price differ from other websites?
Many sites show a national ex-showroom price or an old estimate. Lowzo uses the current price list of authorised dealers in Delhi, variant by variant, so it matches what you are quoted at the showroom.
Is the on-road price the final price I pay?
It is the price authorised dealers list for that variant. Through the Lowzo app dealers bid against each other, so most buyers pay less. Insurance add-ons or accessories you choose can change the total.
What if a model is no longer sold?
When a model or variant is discontinued it is removed from price lists and search, and its page is marked "Discontinued" with the last listed price and similar models on sale.
How do I report a wrong price?
Email support@lowzo.in with the model, variant and the price you were quoted. The team checks it against the dealer price list the same day.
