Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Policy overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances under which you may be eligible for a refund of fees paid on Lowzo, and how cancellations are handled on the Platform.

Lowzo charges the following fees:

₹0 First 2 requirement posts

Your first two requirement posts are completely free. No charges apply.

₹99 Two-wheeler post fee

For two-wheeler requirements after your first two free posts.

Inclusive of 18% GST

₹299 Car post fee

For car requirements after your first two free posts.

Calculated as a percentage of the amount you save compared to the opening bid. Min: ₹49 · Max: ₹4,999, inclusive of 18% GST. Displayed before you confirm the unlock.

Short version: The requirement post fee is non-refundable once your post goes live, because it covers the cost of listing and distributing your request to dealers. The success fee is generally non-refundable unless there is a technical error or dealer verification failure. All fees are inclusive of 18% GST.

2. Requirement post fee — refund policy

The requirement post fee (₹99 for two-wheelers or ₹299 for cars, after your first two free posts) is non-refundable in all circumstances.

Why? The post fee covers the cost of:

Listing your requirement on the Platform
Distributing your request to all verified dealers within your chosen radius
Operating the bidding mechanism and real-time price updates
Maintaining your request for the full bidding window

Important: Once your post goes live, the fee is earned. Whether you receive bids, whether you choose to unlock a dealer, or whether you decide not to proceed with any purchase — the post fee is not refundable.

If you encounter a technical error during payment (e.g., duplicate charge, payment failed but you were still charged), please contact us at support@lowzo.in and we will investigate and issue a refund if confirmed.

3. Success fee — refund policy

The success fee (calculated as a percentage of your savings, min ₹49, max ₹4,999, inclusive of GST) is generally non-refundable because it covers the service of connecting you with a verified dealer and the cost of the bidding mechanism.

When we issue refunds

We will issue a refund of the success fee in the following circumstances:

Technical errors: Duplicate charge, payment processed without your confirmation, or system malfunction.
Unreachable dealer: You unlock a dealer but are unable to reach them or they fail to respond within 7 days.
Dealer verification failure: The dealer you unlocked did not hold a valid GST or KYC verification at the time of bidding.
Duplicate payment: You are charged more than once for the same unlock.

When we do not issue refunds

Change of mind: You decide not to proceed with the purchase after unlocking.
Better deal elsewhere: You find a better deal with another dealer or platform.
Failed inspection: You inspect the vehicle and decide not to purchase it.
Price or term disagreement: You are unable to agree with the dealer on final price or terms.
Exchange valuation: You are dissatisfied with the exchange value offered by the dealer after inspection.

4. Refund process

If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please follow these steps:

1. Contact support Email us at support@lowzo.in with your registered email address, the request ID, and a brief description of the issue.

2. Provide supporting information We may ask for additional details, such as screenshots, payment transaction IDs, or correspondence with the dealer.

3. Review and decision We will review your request within 7 business days and notify you of our decision. If approved, we will initiate the refund.

4. Refund timeline Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and will be credited to the original payment method used (card, UPI, or bank account).

5. Cancellation policy

5.1 Buyer-initiated cancellation

You may cancel your vehicle request at any time before it goes live. Once your post is live, the post fee (if applicable) is non-refundable.

After unlocking: Once you have unlocked a dealer and paid the success fee, you cannot cancel the unlock. However, you are not obligated to proceed with the purchase. The success fee remains non-refundable as per Section 3 above.

5.2 Dealer-initiated cancellation

Dealers may cancel a bid at any time before it is accepted by the buyer. However, once a buyer has unlocked a dealer, the dealer is expected to honour the bid price for 48 hours.

If a dealer fails to honour the bid after unlock, the buyer may report the issue to Lowzo. We will investigate and may take action against the dealer, including suspension of their account.

5.3 Lowzo-initiated cancellation

Lowzo reserves the right to cancel or suspend any request, bid, or transaction if we suspect fraudulent activity, violation of these Terms, or technical issues that affect the integrity of the bidding process.

6. Chargebacks and disputes

If you dispute a charge with your bank or payment provider (a "chargeback"), the disputed amount will be reversed pending resolution. However, your account may be suspended during the dispute process.

We strongly encourage you to contact us directly at support@lowzo.in before initiating a chargeback, as we are often able to resolve issues more quickly and without affecting your account status.

Note: Chargebacks initiated for non-refundable fees (post fees or success fees where no refund is due) may result in permanent account suspension.

7. GST on fees

All fees on Lowzo are inclusive of 18% GST as per Indian tax regulations. The GST amount is included in the total charged at the time of payment.

Two-wheeler post fee: ₹99 (inclusive of 18% GST)
Car post fee: ₹299 (inclusive of 18% GST)
Success fee: Calculated on the saving amount, min ₹49, max ₹4,999 (inclusive of 18% GST)

GST invoices are provided for all paid transactions and can be downloaded from your account settings.
